I haven't posted on here in a while, and I doubt anyone will even look at this, but I am so pumped for Christmas that I thought I would put up pics of my decorated apartment :)









HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! ^___^

I am a huge baseball fan, Cubs in particular and I got to meet my FAVORITE player, Matt Murton, for the third time on Saturday and he took a picture with me and I'm so excited I wanted to share it here! ^^

He was so nice he autographed my shirt and even talked to me for like 5 minutes before the game, it was amazing!!
I've loved him since 2005, before I ever knew of Yamapi lmao...
His red hair captured me first, haha but he really is awesome plus he has a gorgeous southern drawl. Plus a nice butt and legs...

Blah, I have a 7:30 AM final tomorrow, how can they do that to a college student? It is cruel if you ask me, I just don't function at that time! Plus I have to get up at 5 since I haven't really studied for it yet due to the ridiculous amount of other finals and crappy papers I've had to do. At least tomorrow is the end of it for the next three months, YAY!

Ah, it's times like these when I really just want to retreat into Jdramas and NEWS craziness. The thought of becoming shut-in sounds appealing when I think of it that way lmao ;)

Oh, well. Now I must sleep so that I can fail tomorrow's final...

I got a tattoo on Saturday (when I probably should have been studying for finals lol)!! Anyways, I'm surprising my family with it when I go back to MN for the summer at the end of the week, but I'm so excited I wanted to share it with someone, so I post it here! I love it, it's three Sakura (one for each me and my two sisters) and the guy did a wonderful job, I think!! I'm so happy that I got the courage to do it after thinking about it for quite a while, plus it embodies my love for Japan as well!! Wow, too many exclamation marks in this post but that's just how happy I am about it, hahaha.

I have two papers due at the end of the week and three full books to read before I can think about writing them, so what do I do? I watch three doramas in a week and several random clips of course :)

First I watched Utahime which is wonderful, everyone should watch it. I totally fell in love with Nagase Tomoya along the way, so of course I went and watched Tiger & Dragon after that. This provided great comedic relief among all the stress of papers and boring novels lol! Then along the way of that I fell in love with Okada Junichi as well so I watched Security Police.

Then I proceeded to watch all these random subbed clip with either of them in them, including multiple PVs from their respective groups (I recommend TOKIO: Seisyun, Jibun no tame ni and V6: Utao-Utao) as well as the standard random News/Pi/Ryo clips. Time flies when you do everything that you shouldn't be doing! ^^

Anyways, I think you all should check these dramas, etc out : especially Utahime b/c it is just so much | | | |

Haha, in the end this entry just provided me with another way of furthering my lazy procrastination, but oh well!

Okay, so this post is totally unrelated to the fact that two friends just invaded my room and commandeered my playstation, but I thought I'd title it that since it's what I was originally thinking about.

To escape the violence of their particular choice of video game, I decided to watch the Janiben special episode for Zukkoke Otokomichi that I recently found subbed here by eitokickass. It's amazing! It was filmed live so everything is just like Kanjani 8 crazy multiplied by a lot! ^^

My favorite part is Ryo though of course. He's usually so quiet that it's ridiculous, him just sitting back there every episode. The best was when Yoko probably truthfully stated that the audience was getting to see the real Ryo because usually the producers edit and say he needs to maintain his good image lol! I was laughing throughout the whole thing! They all start complaining about Ryo's crankiness when revealing who in the group are Zukkoke Otokomichi in real life, which opens up something for each member... a lot is revealed! Ryo is so defensive and later embarrassed about his behavior he just keeps trying to rationalize it and at the best point claims to have been having a scary dream and was sleep talking. He keeps saying "kowai, kowai" It was hilarious!!

And of course one of their guests is revealing her gigantic boobs and the boys can't stop staring so Yoko decides to point out the obvious and Subaru wants to know if he can stick his head in them... does he... you should most definitely download it and find out!

It's amazing and I just keep watching the Ryo-chan part over and over in particular but really all 45 minutes are priceless entertainment!! ^___^

Haha, so I have another blog and I usually post there and forget about this one because people I know usually read the other one lol! But today I thought that I would share this post here because it makes me happy. This winter I went to Egypt, despite wanting to have rather gone to Japan of course! Anyways, ironically, I got a little bit of Japan while visiting the ancient tombs of the pharoahs! Take a look! Oh and apparently my dad wanted to share in my overwhelming joy and jumped in the picture with me haha! My older sister took the picture and laughed and said "here she is in Egypt, seeing some of the most famous wonders of the world and the highlight of her trip is a Japanese TV van". Haha, it's true, I don't know much Japanese at all but one of the Japanese camera guys was looking at us as we took this picture and so I just sort of slipped out with "ohayo gozaimasu." He looked a little confused at first but then said it back, my family laughed and it was hilarious! Oh and I  look  kinda stupid, but I don't care because it's just too funny that there was an NHK truck there the same day I was (they were doing a live broadcast that day)! And of course I had to make the obligatory peace sign, don't judge me ^__^

So I started watching the 16 episode "Corner with Love" a couple of days ago, despite having my first final today. I hate studying so I figured that the cute guy Alan Luo in this was a good distraction.

Little did I know that it would be SO distracting. These Asian dramas, as much as I love them have to stop toying with me. I don't want to spoil anything for those who want to watch it, but haven't but I finished it in just two days because it just kept taunting me with the status of the relationships! It was so painful, but so good.

Haha, every time something happened I was like "Yay! FINALLY!!" And then two minutes later "NO!!" Something would ruin it. But I guess this is why we keep watching these addictive dramas, huh? At least it had a lot of humor in it to keep it at least a little lighter ^__^


Isn't this cute? Yep, that's why I watched it and so quickly! I wish I had someone to ride on the back of their bike! lol

Well, I guess I should go study for the rest of my finals. Oh and in case you're wondering, I did well on the final today despite Alan's distracting me >.<

Usually, every year I am super excited for christmas and have the most "spirit" out of anyone, but for some reason this year, while I am excited for it, it doesn't feel the same.

Until today that is!! NEWS's christmas magazine shoots totally gave me the spirit! LOL

So after all my sleepy mind dribbles/complaints last night, today has turned out pretty good!

I'm still really tired because the wind was haunting my room last night and kept waking me up by blowing my curtain down and freaking the crap out of me but oh well, its all better now (until I have to go take a stats test ;D). Man I know how to ramble!

Anyways!

So I leave for class and check my mailbox first and I have a slip that says the post office is holding a package from JAPAN!! YAY!! It could only be one thing: my long-awaited CDs! As soon as class ended I walked there to get my packages right away! Got them no problem!

I came back to the dorms for a break and had another slip in the mailbox! Luckily this package was just at the front desk. I wasn't sure what it was, but I was excited! It turned out to be the Japanese Magazine Wink Up! that I ordered a few weeks ago. NEWS is the primary feature and man are they featured, including a poster pin up thingy! YAY again!

Oh and I forgot that I got the direct download for the final episode of Sore wa Totsuzen I watched it right away! It wasn't terribly satisfying but I figured it had to end the way it did and Pi was wonderful! He's a really good actor, tears and everything throughout the series.

UPDATE: Statistics sucked but the lowest score on our quizes gets erased so its okay, because I rocked the rest. So I'm over that.

However, it looks like my brand new iPod is broken out of no where for no reason, just suddenly won't turn on! CRACKERS!!

Again, for now I will just say oh well. Because I am sitting in my room now comfy and cozy looking through beautiful pictures while blasting NEWS in my dvd player which gives much better sound than my computer. So I'm happy! YAY! (Am I trying to convince myself too much?) Just kidding!

ONE MORE UPDATE: I fixed my iPod!! YAY!! Now everything that threatened the wonderfulness of this day is officially solved and so I will watch Nobuta wo Produce to celebrate! ^__^

2. NEWS will finally have concert performances in Tokyo Dome (which is a huge deal, because only artists in high demand and who have become big get to play there because it accomodates 55,000 fans) and they are there on two days! YAY! All in all about 600,000 asian fans are after tickets and when they sold out so quick and had many who still wanted them, they were like "lets do it!" Its awesome, because it really means that they are enjoying success now after everything that they have been through and this has been Yamapi's dream since he joined Johnny's (and probably the other members' too)!

3. The final episode of a very good drama from 2004 starring Pi is finally out, but I have to wait for the direct download link...curse you MACBOOK!! (the alternative only works on PCs).
4. Why am I SO tired?! Dammit!
5. My CDs still haven't come and I am not happy! I think I should call the post office and I don't know how, what if they go "postal" on me? Haha... bad joke, like I said I am not awake right now and so not on my game!
6. Hated word for the day: Lets just say c**k. I just really don't like this word, sorry if you enjoy using it but it grosses me out.
7. Hmmm... I guess that'll do it for now, although I am lacking in pictures and a nearly pictureless post is no fun! He looks so HOT when he's all broody and serious, though I love it when he's goofy and smiles too!

I've seen that a few people have put up "fanart" and since I never put anything on my LJ and I thought that I would put up one of my own! This doesn't even compare to some of the ones I've seen but OH WELL! I love it anyways! This is from his Akira days.

So it is starting to get cold here and as I was flipping through my numerous Yamapi photos trying to reduce duplicates, I came upon this picture that he did at the beach. Now while I won't deny that part of this beach's appeal lies in his presence there. The main reason I'm putting this up is because it looks so pretty and warm and I am craving it!! Also, because I wish it were still summer time! Plus, the welcoming heart and Pi makes it all the more friendly and alluring! So enjoy and picture yourself there whenever you get cold. P.S. Isn't Japan beautiful!? Who wants to go with me? Next flight leaves tomorrow at 11 AM from O'Hare! It's a direct flight too! 13 hrs, meal included, looks pretty good to me! IGSOU!! (i.e. LETS GO!!)
